Ready for an easy way to jot down ideas? …sketches, diagrams, website layouts, logoforms, type ligatures, and the like? Try carrying a sketchpad in your back pocket. This one is custom stamped and wrapped with our Butter Label logo, lovingly, by Luke himself (who?).
The Moleskine (pronounced mol-a-skeen’-a) brand Cahiers (kaa yáy) have been a favorite of ours for some time. They are handy and portable, with a wonderful paper texture that easily handles various pen tips with fantastic results.
Speaking of pens, if you are new or an old hat with fountain pens, you’ll enjoy the “disposable” fountain pen we’ve included with this sketchbook. It carries a broad medium tip (…that some would say, is too broad), but for the quick and sometimes ad hoc nature of pocket sketches, you’ll find the width nib to be just right.
If you already enjoy the feel of a fountain pen, then you can make the move to one of the more pricey gold-tipped fountain pens from a different brand. But mind you, they sometimes sell for a dear price. If you haven’t tried using a fountain pen, here’s your chance to try one, friend, at a very reasonable price.
As the continuous development of the idea behind Butter Label progresses, I’m finding some great outlets for my frustrated creativity. Here’s one of them. We hope you find it useful and enjoy plotting and scheming as well as developing your own creativity.
Drawing in this handy little book will be better than attempting a sketch on wax paper, with or without butter on it.
Enjoy!
